Demystifying the OQLF Exam
The OQLF exam follows a clear, four-step structure. Knowing what happens at each stage is the first step toward passing with confidence.
Step 01 · 15 minutes
Analyze a fictitious professional scenario. You will receive a common context document and a unique information sheet known only to you.
Step 02 · 80 minutes
A simulated professional meeting. You must actively share your unique information, collaborate with others, and formulate solutions. Passive participation results in failure.
Step 03 · 20–60 minutes
Draft a 150-200 word summary report or action plan based on the discussion. Note: No spellcheck or grammar tools are provided.
Step 04 · 10 minutes
A one-on-one roleplay where the evaluator acts as a client, patient, or colleague challenging your decisions.
